Seleucids

A Seleucid bois Argyraspides and Chalkaspides - back to back.

The names Argyraspides and Chalkaspides mean "Silver Shield" and "Bronze Shield" respectively. Both types of soldiers were featured in the Seleucid and Antigonid kingdoms following the collapse of Alexander the Great's empire.

The Seleucids are my personal favorite of Alexander's successors, so I wanted to pay homage to them with this drawing.
