Roman Kentarch

Leader of an infantry century in the medieval Roman army.

NOTE:
Although using the term Byzantine would be more familiar to most folks, I still prefer calling the Byzantines - Romans, as that is what they called themselves.
Adding 'medieval' is my own way of distinguishing them from their ancient counterparts.
