Namoria Rising

Man the oars; all hands on deck! Look to the horizon, all you sons of the sea! Land-dwellers run and hide: Namoria sails with the rising tide!

The Namorians are a seafaring civilization I'm developing as part of a collaborative worldbuilding project with fellow fantasy and history illustrators and enthusiasts.

Namoria is heavily inspired by the Bronze and Dark Ages of Greece and the Egean. Cultures and civilizations such as the Minoans, Myceneans, The Sea People, the Trojans, and others from the wider Egeana and Mediterranean seas inspire and influence my creative direction with this fantasy civilization.

My goal with this project is to create a believable ancient civilization in a fantastic setting, that I can further develop through written stories, comics, and board games such as Dungeons & Dragons.
