Soldiers of Nemea - an ancient and long-lived empire from Mytheora - my original fantasy world that I am creating and developing through illustrations and writings.

These sketches and concepts are of their infantry - the backbone of the Nemean military machine. Through sketching and concept art I figure out what works and what doesn't for a given civilization. My process usually involves starting with a faction's military and then working back to the common folk, elites, royalty, and so on.
