Namorian Mercenary

Far from home - fighting for gold and glory.

Among death and ruin, war brings riches to those brave and skilled enough to charge for their battle prowess. Mercenaries stand to gain much, provided they survive the conflict.

Namorians of all walks of life may become mercenaries, but only the best make a living career out of it. Their superb sailing and raiding skills are highly sought-after by many of Namoria's neighbors - friends and enemies alike.

As a mercenary, a Namorian might travel far beyond the influence of his homeland - encountering lands and peoples very different from those back home.

The Namorians are a fantasy civilization I am developing as part of a collaborative worldbuilding project. They are heavily influenced by Bronze and Dark Age Greece, and other Egean and Mediterranean civilizations.
