"The bustling docks of Silema, the city of the Moon, are ripe with goings-on. There is never a dull moment there; always something flowing, like the turquoise waters between the sea walls, and the fleets of merchant ships coming in and out of the great city's port."

Sharing this artwork fills me with such joy - not only because I like it a lot, but also because it's the first ever I've made of a Namorian City. Granted, it's just a small part of the port, but it's a step in a new direction for me with my Namorian project.
My usual MO is soldiers, warriors, and mercenaries, and so far (apart from a few sketches of villagers and nobles) most of my output when it comes to Namoria has been soldiers.
Just to be clear, I'm not stepping away from them, but I do want to explore and develop the non-military side of this civilization as well. And finishing this artwork was the first step towards that goal.
I want to develop Namoria into a fully fleshed-out fantasy civilization, within a fully fleshed-out bronze age fantasy setting, and that's gonna require designing a lot more than soldiers.
But I'm excited to get into all of that, and if you are too, then stick around - it's gonna be fun!
So, what do you think the noblewomen are gossiping about?
The Namorians are a fictional seafaring civilization that I'm developing as a fantasy world-building project.
