Path of The Dragon - Gotze's Map

A map of the surrounding hills and wider region around the village of Neusby - depicting geographic formations, forests, and a few tantalizing landmarks.

Gotze's Map is a map from my homebrew D&D world of Zemina, featured in my homebrew D&D campaign called "The Jebronicals: Path of the Dragon".

I feel it is very important for players to have a map during a D&D campaign. I also believe that maps should vary based on what their purpose is, as well as where, how, and from who the players get it.

For their purposes, I drew up a map as the mayor of Neusby would, marking the notable areas on it, and not necessarily all the interesting locations in the region.

The map itself is very local, as in, it shows the larger area of highlands and forests that form Neusby's immediate surroundings.

Details such as the greater region the village belongs to and the realm wherein they reside are not important to the campaign, nor to the mayor, so they are omitted.

I make a point to incorporate the larger world lore during campaign sessions, as to give the players a sense of scope of the world they are in, but as those details are not pertinent to this map, they are not shown.

The first image is the map after the Jebronies had explored all the given locations, while the second image is the map as it was when they got it.
